Depart from your hotel and head south on the Panamerican Highway towards the Pachacamac Archaeological Sanctuary located only 30 kilometers from Lima. This complex – built out of adobe, and boasting views of the Pacific Ocean and the Lurin River Valley – was a pilgrimage site for many of the cultures that made up ancient Peru.
