Restrictions

Please book the first flights from Lima to Iquitos (arriving before 9 am); and for the flights from Iquitos to Lima flights that leave after 6 pm. Any different schedule it has an additional cost because a private transfer is needed. If at the end of your program you decide to stay in Iquitos, please send your hotel information so that we know where to drop you off. • For the last day lunch is included depending on the flight schedule. If you do not take it there will be no discount or refund. • Electrical fluid from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm (220 v electricity) • The program can vary according to the climatic conditions and according to season (empty and growing of the Amazonian rivers) .Our Jungle Guides will be able to make changes in situ that allow to fulfill the objectives in the excursions. • Please note that we are an ecolodge, for us it is important to preserve the environment, so we do not have hot water or air conditioning in the rooms.

Tour Itinerary

DAY 01: IQUITOS / ECOLODGE
• Welcome at the airport or City of Iquitos.
• Road transfer to Nauta and a visit to the Sapi Sapi. Lagoon (water mirror)
• Navigation on the Marañon River.
• Visit to the Fundo Casual, a tropical forest run by local residents, where we will see different species of local fauna.
• Arrival to our EcoLodge.
• Greeting by a member of the Kukama kukamiria ethnic group.
• Accommodation in our bungalows.
• Nightly conversation on myths and legends of the Amazon.
• Visit to our TSETSU mirador.
Lunch – dinner. Overnight.

DAY 02: ADVENTURE BOOTCAMP: ECOLODGE / PACAYA SAMIRIA NATIONAL RESERVE
• Interpretative and adventure treks through the primary forest of our EcoLodge following the route of the primates.
• Lunch.
• Departure to the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve, Nauta Caño area.
• GUARANTEED watching of pink and grey dolphins.
• Navigation through The Jungle of Mirrors.
• Touring through flooded forests.
• Spotting of the wide variety of local flora and fauna.
Breakfast - lunch – dinner. Overnight.

DAY 03: VIVENCIAL EXPERIENCE / ECOLODGE
Visit to the community of San Jorge to interact with its members and understand their way of life and ancestral customs.
Visit to the Center for Kukama Women Crafts (Pua Kamatawara), project developed by Pacaya Samiria Amazon Lodge. Transfer to the airport or city of Iquitos.
Breakfast - lunch.
